Project 3: 650 meals Veg Pulav, 5 volunteers, 30 hours

Project 3 of the LIAP Kitchen Drive was held at Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra, India. For this food drive, we ordered 650 meals of veg pulav from Pune Uncle, who has good cooking skills. A team of 5 volunteers worked for 30 hours to make this project happen. The food was packed and ready, and we started serving in the nearby locality. Few people came and ate with happiness, but still lot of food was left.

At that time, the driver gave us an idea to go to a nearby temple. We went there and began serving the needy people outside the temple. Slowly, the meals were shared until no packet was left and no more hungry people was left. It felt like it was made perfectly for the people that day. Someone told us that usually one man comes daily to give food, but that day he did not come. Maybe it was coincidence, or maybe God sent us there.
